KARACHI: HSC exam schedule

KARACHI, April 12: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, would start issuing admit cards pertaining to the HSC annual examinations, from April 16, said controller of examinations on Saturday.

The Controller, Prof Amjad Ali Syed, told Dawn that admit cards of HSC Part I and II (Science and Commerce-regular groups) were being finalized and students could get those from their respective colleges from April 16 onwards.

In the meantime, he said, board was also receiving examination forms from students, regular as well as failures of supplementary examinations. Failures of supplementary examinations could submit their forms upto April 19, he added.

He said that schedule of the First phase of the HSC examinations, commencing from April 24, had been approved by the board chairman and the students would be provided with the schedule, along with their admit cards. He said that the schedule would also be available on board’s official website: www.biek.edu.pk, from Monday.

The examination schedule of Science, Pre-medical and Pre-engineering groups, is as follows:

Pre-medical (from 10 am to 1 pm);

24 April-Chemistry I, 25/4- Pakistan Studies, 26/4-English I (Normal), 28/4-Zoology II, 29/4-Physics I, 30/4-English II, 2 May-Botany II, 3/5-Islamiat, 5/5-Chemistry II, 6/5-Botany I, 7/5- Urdu II, 8/5-Zoology I, 9/5-Physics II, 11/5-Urdu I, 12/5- Chemistry I (Failure), and 13/5-Physics I (Failure).

Pre-Engineering (from 3 pm to 6 pm);

24 April-Computer Science I (Old and new course)/Geography I, 25/4-Math I, 28/4-English II, 29/4-English I, 30/4-Chemistry II, 3 May-Urdu I, 6/5-Chemistry I/Statistics I, 7/5-Physics II, 8/5- Economics I, 10/5-Math I (Failure)/Geology I, 12/5-Islamiat, 13/5-Urdu II, 14/5-Physics I, 15/5-Pak Studies, 17/5-Physics I (Failure)/Economics II, 19/5-Computer Science II (old and new course)/Geography II and 20/5-Math II/Geology II.

The paper of the newly-introduced, Information Technology for the students of Science and Commerce (regular) would be held on May 25, said the controller.
