Tariq slams century

KARACHI, Dec 4: An unbeaten knock of 109 runs by Tariq Murad, studded with 10 boundaries and a couple of sixes, enabled Pak Korangi beat Friends Gymkhana by 50 runs in the All Karachi Sundip Trophy Colour Kit Ramazan cricket tournament played Tuesday at the Airport Stadium.

Pak Korangi batting first reached 172 for five in the 20 allotted overs and apart from Tariq’s unbeaten century, Ismail weighed in with 27.

Chasing 173 runs for victory, Friends Gymkhana in reply were bundled out for 122 runs in only 16 overs.

Sardar Kamran hit up 25 and Jibran 22 not out. Aijaz was the pick of the Pak Korangi attack, grabbing four for 11.
