Right shares

KARACHI, March 28: Southern Electric Power Company Limited announced on Friday that it had received Rs158.4 million as the sponsors/directors entitlement against its issue of right shares at 33.33 per cent at par.

The amount received constituted 51 per cent of the total issue of 31.1 million shares. The company also attached an auditors certificate that confirmed that the company had received Rs133.9 million for 13.4 million shares from BCHIL Southern Company Limited; Rs24.1 million for 2.4 million shares from Southern Electric Limited and Rs0.396 million for 39,640 shares from Mrs Sughra Mahmood.
