KARACHI, March 25: The election tribunal, headed by Justice Amir Hani Muslim of the Sindh High Court, here on Tuesday dismissed an election petition of MMA candidate Prof Mohammad Ahmed Siddiqui against Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s MPA Mohammad Shakir Ali.

The tribunal recounted votes polled in five polling stations — 21, 31, 40, 57 and 59 of PS-112 Karachi — and recorded testimonies of the petitioner and the respondents. However, the petitioner could not prove allegations against the respondent.—PPI
