KARACHI: Youth Commits suicide

KARACHI, March 21: A young man committed suicide in the city on Friday.

The police said Hafiz, aged 26, hanged himself from a ceiling fan in his house at Dohda Village in the police limits of Rizvia Society.

The police described the young man as mentally ill.

The body was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem.

FOUND DEAD: A young man was found dead with a bullet wound to his chest in his relation’s house in Korangi Industrial Area on Friday.

The police said Ali Murad, aged 32, was found dead with a bullet injury to his chest in the house of his cousin Abdul Qayyum in Korangi Industrial Area on Friday morning. Murad had come from Dera Murad Jamali in Balochistan to visit with his cousin on Thursday night.

The police said the dead man’s cousin had disappeared.

The body was sent to the JPMC for post-mortem.
