SHIKARPUR, March 20: The Shikarpur District Council, in a resolution adopted at a meeting held on Thursday, condemned the US-led attack on Iraq.

It appealed to the United Nations to stop the attack on Iraq.

The council also urged the government to play its role to stop the war.

AMENITIES: District Nazim Mohammad Arif Khan Mahar has said the district government is making efforts to provide basic amenities to people and resolve their problems at their doorsteps.

He was talking to people after inaugurating a development scheme in Hajana village here on Thursday.

He regretted some opposition groups were putting hindrances in completing and designing of development schemes.
