Two alleged Kidnappers arrested

PESHAWAR, March 20: The city police arrested on Thursday two alleged kidnappers from Khurasan Afghan refugee camp and recovered a Kalashnikov and two pistols from them.

According to a press release, the police formed a raiding party after receiving information about the presence of two alleged kidnappers in the refugee camp, in the suburbs of the city.

The police party raided the camp and arrested Lal Mast, son of Sher Bahadar, resident of Afridiabad, and Gul Wazir, son of Halim Khan, resident of Shamshatu, and recovered the weapons.

During the initial investigation, the accused confessed that they had recently kidnapped Attaullah, son of Wasil, for ransom. But they had to release him after an encounter with police at Michani checkpoint. They also told the police about their another accomplice, Naseer Ullah.
