KARACHI, March 12: In its issue of Feb 25, 2003, on page 5, Dawn carried a news item entitled, “Three Hesco officials sacked for fraud.” Mr Ghulam Nabi, ex-revenue officer, Hesco, has taken exception to this story and asserts that there is no charge against him of receiving bribes of millions of rupees or fraud either in the show cause notice issued to him or in the dismissal order.
He also states that he has preferred an appeal against the dismissal order.
