LONDON, March 12: Pakistani writer Bapsy Sidhwa’s play, Sock ‘em with Honey, is due to open in London at the Leicester Haymarket Studio on March 20.

The play is an adaptation of Bapsy Sidhwa’s much acclaimed novel, An American Brat, says a press release. The play has been directed by Janet Steel, and the cast includes Sumitra Bhagat, Gareth Clarke, Phillippa Downs, Norma Dixit and Rohit Gokhani.

Well-known Indian actress, Kitu Gidwani, who starred in the award winning films, Earth (based on another Sidhwa novel, Ice-Candy Man) and Dance of the Wind, comes from Mumbai to play the mother the main character, Feroza.
