RAWALPINDI, March 9: The Russia Federation will further improve its bilateral relations with Pakistan.

This was stated by Russian ambassador, Eduard Shevchenko, at a dinner reception hosted in his honour by the PML-Q central vice-president, Syed Kabir Ali Wasti.

Federal Minister for Water and Power Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao was also present on the occasion.

The Russian envoy termed the recent Moscow visit of the President General Pervez Musharraf as most important for further cementing bilateral relations between the two countries.

He said the visit would certainly open more windows bringing both Russia and Pakistan more close and end misunderstandings of the cold war era.
