OKARA, March 8: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited main branch has computerized its data to minimize the consumers’ problems, according to PTCL central communication region’s General Manager Aminur Rahman.

Inaugurating the central computerized inquiry 17 at the main telephone exchange on the Sahiwal Road, he said now the callers would get all the information on 17.

During the current financial year, he said the PTCL had allotted 15,000 connections in the district, and the company still had the capacity of 22,000 connections.

TWO DIE: A man was run over by a bus while another died of alleged excessive drinking in the district.

Reports said Asghar Ali was travelling by a overcrowded bus (LHO-1845) standing near the door. Near Noor Shah chowk on the Gogera Road, he fell under the wheels of the vehicle and died instantly.
