KARACHI, March 8: The General Secretary of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors, Mahmudul Aziz, has urged the Sindh chief minister to order complete medical treatment of ailing senior newspaper editor Ghulam Mohammed Memon.

Mr Memon, the chief editor of Fateh Islam, is admitted to a local hospital.

Mr Aziz reminded the chief minister of the promise he had made at a dinner hosted in the honour of newspaper editors on Jan 31 for urgent measures to provide necessary treatment to the ailing editor. But he deplored that so far no progress had been made in this regard.
