KARACHI, March 8: Workers and students belonging to the Progressive Youth Front on Saturday staged a demonstration in front of Karachi Press Club against the manhandliling of some KU students associated with the front.

PYF secretary-general Nisar Shah said the students were being harrased and tortured on the campus for the last three days by the workers of another student organisation.

“They were distributing anti-war stickers and literature on Thursday and were peaceful but the rival group beat them up. Similarly, on Friday, when the three students went to the University, they were beaten up again and driven out of the campus,” he said.
