Farrukh hammers century

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29: Farrukh Hayat struck an unbeaten 102 and Madoodul Hassan captured four wickets for 36 runs as Diamond routed ITR by eight wickets in the Chairman CDA cricket championship.

ITR were restricted to 170 by the Diamond attack in which besides Madood, Nayyar Abbasi and Asaf Akhtar took two wickets each. Irfan Akhtar was the top run-getter, stroking a fine 56.

Diamond then cruised home, scoring 171 with eight wickets to spare. Farrukh led the run chase followed by Hashim Khan who cracked a half century.
