QUETTA, Feb 20: The Governor Balochistan, Lt-Gen (Retd) Abdul Qadir on Wednesday stressed upon the traders and investors of the province to invest in industries and commercial projects.

“You people should come forward and play your role in the economic development of Balochistan,” he said while talking to a delegation of Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The delegation was led by BCCI president Mir Wali Mohammad Badani.

He said that the government would provide all possible assistance in this regard. He expressed the hope that investors and traders would also help the government in its efforts for the speedy development of the Province.

The governor said that he would sincerely serve the people of this backward province and would try to come up to their expectations. He said that he would remain in close contact with the Federal and provincial governments in this connection.

The President, Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mir Wali Mohammad Badani congratulated General Abdul Qadir for assuming the office of the provincial governor and assured full cooperation of the business community for the economic development of the Province.

Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Jamal Shah Kakar and Regional Chief of the United Bank Limited, Mr. Walid Khalid also called on Governor Balochistan.
