RAWALPINDI, Feb 19: Two persons were killed and another suffered injuries after roof of their house caved in due to rain in Dhoke Rajgan, Chakri Road, on Wednesday.

Razaq, 65, and 10-year-old Irfan were sitting in their house when the roof collapsed with a big bang. Imran, who was sitting in another room, also sustained injuries in the incident.

A large number of villagers from the surrounding areas and police reached the spot and pulled the bodies and the injured out of the debris. Later, Imran was shifted to the hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable.

Meanwhile, two persons, who are stated to be addict, died here in Gawalmandi due to cold on Wednesday, hospital authorities said.

The bodies are yet to be identified, they said.
