Passengers looted

SUKKUR, Feb 15: Hundreds of bus passengers blocked the National Highway near Rohri after they were looted by armed bandits on Wednesday night.

The majority of passengers, who were deprived of more than Rs10 million, were cattle dealers and were on the way to Punjab from Karachi after selling sacrificial cattlehead.

The protesters ended the blockade after they were assured by the district Nazim that the bandits would be arrested.—BoC
