ISLAMABAD, Feb 10: The PTCL is offering NWD calls on reduced rates during Eid days.

Under this package, telephone subscribers will be able to talk to their near and dear ones at reduced rates for four consecutive days.

By introducing this package, the PTCL has almost removed the barriers of distances within the country and nationwide calls have been made within everybody’s reach during these festival days.

The Eid package will begin on February 10 at 9:30pm and continue till Friday morning February 14 at 7am. The package will also be available on the PTCL calling cards and public call offices. During these days, prime time (full rate) will not be applicable.

As per package, night time (quarter rate) will be applicable on all NWD calls made from 9:30pm till 7am and evening/half rate from 7am to 9:30pm.

The PTCL has recently announced a special Haj package whereby rates of all outgoing calls from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia have been reduced from Rs39 per minute to Rs30 per minute. The new package had greatly benefited the pilgrims’ families.

The facility is also available on the PTCL calling cards. This package will remain in force till March 15.—Our Reporter
