KARACHI: Two robberies committed

KARACHI, Feb 7: Armed men barged into Sajjad Naqvi’s house in Gulshan-i-Iqbal early Friday morning, held the occupants of the house hostage at gunpoint and got away with cash and jewellery.

A businessman, Mr Irfan, was robbed of his car, cash and a mobile phone on Shahrah-i-Noorjehan late Thursday night.

Four armed men intercepted Irfan as he came out of his bungalow. The bandits told him to get off the car and got away with the car, his cell phone and Rs11,000.

FIR: Assistant Director FIA Khaliquzzaman lodged an FIR at Gulshan-i-Iqbal police station that on Thursday afternoon five armed men barged into his Block-5 residence, held the family hostage and harassed them.
