KARACHI, Feb 6: A young businessman was kidnapped in Gadap late Wednesday night.

The police said Danish Pervaiz, aged 25, son of Pervaiz Rafi, resident of Amir Khusro Road, went to his poultry farm on Wednesday evening. When he was returning home from Danish Poultry Farm, he was feared to have been kidnapped somewhere near the poultry farm off Super Highway, the police said.

As he did not return home by midnight after making phone a call that he would soon return home, his family began searching for him. His car (AAY-636) was found abandoned near Toll Plaza on Super Highway.

SSP Homicide Manzoor Mughal said the family had not received a ransom call so far.

Pervaiz Rafi, Danish’s father, lodged a complaint about the kidnapping of his son at Gadap police station. A joint team of the SSP Homicide and the CPLC is investigating the case.
