Two army officers die as bus hits jeep

MULTAN, Feb 5: Two armymen were killed and as many injured on Wednesday in a road accident in the Cholistan desert area close to Indian border near Yazman tehsil, Bahawalpur.

Four armymen were patrolling near Thandi Khot in their jeep when a bus collided headon with it as the bus driver lost vision due to dirt. Soldiers Abdul Majeed and Fida died on the spot while Mobeen and an unidentified soldier sustained injuries.

The injured were admitted to the Combined Military Hospital, Bahawalpur.
