KARACHI, Feb 4: The City Nazim, under Section 144 CrPC, has ordered that “no person, agency, association or organization shall collect hides/skin in camps/vehicles, on roads, bungalows.

He has also prohibited publicity for such collection by advertisement, banners, handbills announcement, chalking or any other means, provided, however, with express prior approval in writing of the City Nazim, City District Government Karachi, or authorised officer in this behalf (EDO Revenue)

Establishment of centres on roads, streets and roundabouts by pitching of Shamianas or Kanats or otherwise for collection of hides and skin by use of loudspeakers fitted in vehicles is prohibited for the security and safety of general public within the jurisdiction of the city government.

The order shall remain in force for seven days from the commencement of the order.
