KARACHI, Feb 2: Sindh Chief Minister Ali Mohammad Khan Mahar said on Sunday the government was making efforts on an emergency basis to ensure provision of medicines and equipment to district hospitals.
He was talking to various delegations from Ghotki, Sukkur, Larkana and Khairpur, who called on him at the Chief Minister’s House.
He said supply of medicines and equipment would ensure the provision of proper health-care facilities to people in the rural areas.
Mr Mahar said the government was also planning to develop a network of roads in those areas which lacked the facility.
He said the government was aware of the problems being faced by people of Sindh and taking steps for their solution.—APP
