SUKKUR, Feb 2: A meeting of the police was held in Kandhkot on Sunday to review law and order situation in Jacobabad district, with reference to safety of gas pipeline in the area.

The meeting was presided over by the DIG (operation), Syed Mushtaq Shah, who expressed concern over lawlessness in the area.

He urged the police officers, stationed in Kashmor, Bakhshapur, Risaldar and Tangwani to be more vigilant and set up more police check-points in the areas, from where gas pipeline passed.
