QUETTA, Jan 31: An Afghan girl, 15, and her two-year-old brother were killed by two men in Muslim Ittehad colony on Friday, police said. The killers also injured Roohullah, 8, who was admitted to the civil hospital in precarious condition.

According to police sources, Ziaullah along with his accomplice entered into the house of an Afghan refugee Musa to molest Robika Bibi, who was alone. Upon resistance Ziaullah slit her throat with a dagger.

The two-year-old boy, Samiullah, entered into the room and started crying when he saw his sister dead. The accused got hold of the child and hit against a wall killing him on the spot, the police claimed.

They also seriously injured Roohullah, who saw the two persons killing his sister and brother, the police added.

People, nearby, rushed to the house after hearing the cries and caught Ziaullah, whereas the other person escaped.

Chief Minister Jam Mohammed Yousaf visited Musa’s house and expressed sorrow over the incident and ordered to release Rs250,000 for the aggrieved family.

The chief minister ordered the police to make possible the early arrest of the other accused.

Mr Yousaf also visited the hospital and told the doctors to give better treatment to the injured boy.
