LAHORE, Jan 28: A six-event competitive card, has been drawn for the mid-week Lahore Gymkhana races to be held at the Racecourse on Wednesday.

Bay Fair Boy, with an impressive eight length victory on the trot, will be going all out to make it two in-a-row when he appears in the fifth and feature event of the day, the Lower Bari Plate class VII division V (A).

Among his closest rivals in a field of 11-runners, are two bay colts Eastern Bird and Super Star, who may provide him some challenge.

The remaining eight are those who have not yet done anything noteworthy.

Dark bay colt, Royal Class seems a cut above in class vis- a-vis his nine rivals in the supporting event.

The Lower Bari Plate class VII division V (B) will be the fourth race in racing order. Royal Class should be closely followed by the grey mare Silk Route and bay horse Rukhsh.

Three acceptors come into reckoning in the third race, the Lower Bari Plate, a class VII division VII. They are: Copper Fields, Madam Lorina and Mohni Road. They should fight it out.

The second race, a class VII division VIII A has nine runners. Of them the bay Royal Arrow, who finished fourth in his last outing a week back, should emerge winner. After Royal Arrow, it should be anyone’s race.

The opener has the biggest field of 18 acceptors, if there are no last-minute withdrawals. Royal Harban, Rambo Princess, Bone Crusher and Khan Bahadur attract attention in this race. The winner should be from them.

The sixth and last race of the day, class VII division VIII, has 13 runners. The bay horse Cranbrook Boy, who was beaten to second place in his last outing, should make amends and win the event.

All races will be contested over the sprinting distance of 1000m. The first race will start at 12.30 pm.
