LAHORE, Jan 25: Three goals each by Ahsan Javed Sher and Sattar Niazi, enabled President Body Guard to win Himont Four Goal Cup defeating Askari Water Blues 7-6 on Saturday.
Mohsin Khan, put Askari ahead by scoring a goal in the first chukker. Mali Khan equalised for PBG, however, Shah Qublai Alam, and Imran Najib struck again to put Askari ahead 3-1, only to have the margin reduced 3-2 by Ahsan’s first goal before the chukker ended.
Both teams were locked at 4-4 at the end of the second chukker. First PBG made it 3-3 when Sattar scored his first goal and then Ahsan added his second for 4-3 lead. But Qublai Alam scored his second to help Askari to be on an even keel 4-4.
In the third chukker both teams again added two goals each to make the score 6-6. Sattar scored two goals for the PBG and Qublai both for Askari.
Ahsan struck the winner in the fourth chukker, crowning a field attempt.
Earlier, a 1/ 1/2 goal handicap helped Askari Water Whites to come in third when they beat Free Lancers 6 1/2-6.
