Malir Companion beat Gulzar Gym

KARACHI, Nov 24: Malir Companion CC beat Gulzar Gymkhana by 41 runs in the Fifth Nehal Siddiqui Invitation Ramazan cricket tournament, played Saturday at the Malir cricket stadium

Malir Companion batting first raced to 188 for four in 20 overs through Ahmer Sohail 54 not out, Ather Ali 41, Sadarat Kirmani 36, and Nasir Aziz 33 not out.

Gulzar Gymkhana chasing 189 runs for victory, were bowled out in 19.3 overs for only 147 runs. Shahbaz (31) and Shehzad (20) batted well, while Nasir Aziz and Ramazan with three wickets apiece for only 16 runs, sealed victory for their side.

Sunday’s fixture: Malir Sports v Colony Gymkhana on the same venue.
