PESHAWAR, Jan 17: An Afghan wrestler here entertained thousands of spectators through the feats he displayed here on Friday at the Shahi Bagh Stadium.

Shah Mohammad Logari, who have two wives and 13 children, took the lookers-on by surprise when he exhibited some dangerous stunts and showed his immense physical strength.

The 38-year-old wrestler let a tractor and a Datsun pick-up to pass over his body while lying on ground. Moreover, he allowed a person to break with a hammer a 250kg stone piece placed on his abdomen. Surprisingly, when the stone had been crushed into pieces, the giant man appeared all-right.

Similarly, he lay face down on tips of nails hammered into a piece of wood and a person again crushed into pieces a stone weighing 250kg that was put on his back, but even then there was not a single scratch on his abdomen.

Some 6,000 people, most of them Afghan refugees, witnessed the heart-warming performance of Shah Mohammad. His performance was appreciated by all and sundry.

Then he displayed his power by controlling two motorcycles and two Datsun pick-ups. Though the drivers of these vehicles accelerated the engines, but could not succeed to fail him.

Shah Mohammad had also demonstrated his skills in Afghanistan and the people there showered him with praise, but he said that the law and order situation in the war-torn country was not good to continue his shows.

He has successfully conducted a four-day show in Kohat district, which spellbound the local people a great deal.
