PESHAWAR, Jan 13: The Volkswagen Show at the Department of Fine Arts, University of Peshawar, on Saturday attracted a large number of students.

Fifteen German-made cars were put on display. The owners proudly explained how they had managed to keep them for so long in pristine condition. This German product had reached matchless fame when its production was terminated.

Some of the owners had switched on engines and were pressing on the accelerators, emanating the familiar purr of beetle engine.

Certificates and awards were distributed among the owners and the students of the department, who were moving souls behind organizing the show.
