KARACHI, Nov 24: The vice-chancellor of Karachi University, Prof Zafar Saeed Saify, has called for the need of exchange of delegations between Pakistan and the United States in the realms of education and science as well as collaboration in the sphere of research.

He was talking to a delegation of the Pakistanis settled in the United States here on Saturday.

The delegation led by Saghir A. Tahir, a member of New Hampshire Parliament, visited the campus on Saturday.

Senior faculty members of the university were also present on the occasion.

The vice-chancellor said Karachi University has made a lot of headway in education and research fields.

The leader of the delegation said that the purpose of the visit was to foster understanding between the peoples of America and Pakistan and remove misunderstandings.

The members of the delegation also visited various under- construction institutes at the campus.—APP
