HYDERABAD, Jan 9: The controller of examinations (semester), University of Sindh, on Thursday, has announced the names of students who secured the highest marks in the various faculties of the university.

In the MBA (Final) Honours 2001, Hina Rind, daughter of Amir Ali Rind, secured the highest marks, while in the M.Com (Final) Pass, Fateh Ali, son of Rehmat Ali, and in BBA (Hons) Part-III, Kashif Ghani, son of Abdul Ghani Bhatti, secured the highest marks.

In the M.Sc Final (Hons) 2001 in Telecommunications, Sher Mohammad, son of Khalilur Rehman Daudpota, was declared top faculty. In MSc (Final) Honours 2000 in Microbiology, Sarfaraz Ali, son of Qurban Ali Tunio, was declared top faculty.

In B.Ed (evening) 2000, Amjad Ali, son of Mureed Sabir Arain, was declared top faculty. In B.Ed (morning) 2001, Rehana, daughter of Qadir Khan Chohan, was declared top faculty.

LABORATORY INAUGURATED: The vice chancellor, University of Sindh, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, on Thursday inaugurated a computer science laboratory at the Syed Pannah Ali Shah Sindh University Model School Jamshoro.

A large number of teachers from various departments and the Model School attended the inaugural ceremony of the laboratory.

The principal of the school, Prof Sehar Imdad, highlighted the academic and co-curricular activities of the school and expressed gratitude to the administration for cooperation.
