KARACHI, Jan 7: Two young men were found murdered in the city on Tuesday.

A young man was found murdered in SITE in the early morning.

Police said the body of Gul Mohammed, aged 18, was found in a narrow street near Sarrafa Bazaar in Pathan Colony. The body, stuffed into a gunny bag, was trussed up.

Unknown persons hanged the young man to death and later dumped his body in Pathan Colony.

He had gone out of his house on Monday evening but did not return.

The young man was a junk dealer and lived in Pirabad.

Gul’s brother Umar Khan lodged an FIR at the area police station against unknown persons.

The body was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem.

The body of a young man, stuffed into a bag, was found in Khwaja Ajmer Nagri.

Police said the body of Mohammed Shahid, aged 25, stuffed into a gunny bag, was found in sector 11-A of Khwaja Ajmer Nagri.

The body was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem. Sources at the hospital said the young man was throttled to death.

Police said the dead man was resident of Surjani Town and a movie-maker.

Quoting the family sources, police said the young man had gone out of his house on Monday evening. He told his family that he was going on a movie-making assignment.

Carjacking: Twenty vehicles — eight cars and 12 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Tuesday, police said.

Three cars were hijacked. Five others were stolen.

Five motorcycles were hijacked. Seven others were stolen.

Police also claimed on Tuesday to have recovered five cars and five motorcycles.

ROBBERIES: Three robberies were committed in the city on Tuesday, police said.

Four armed men barged into a house in Korangi Industrial Area, held the occupants of the house hostage at gunpoint and got away with cash and valuables.

Two bandits entered a house in SITE area and looted jewellery and cash.

Two men, riding a motorcycle, robbed a man of his mobile phone in Brigade.
