HYDERABAD, Jan 6: The retrenched employees of the Hilal Factory, under the banner of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Monday against the recruitment of outsiders in the factory.

Speaking at the rally, Azam Kalhoro said the factory owners had declared a lockout in the past but now that the factory was being restarted, workers were being imported from Punjab.

He appealed the president, the prime minister and the federal minister for industries and production to take notice of the injustice against the local workers.

He said the former employees had served in the factory for 20 years and they had first right over the employment.
