HYDERABAD, Jan 1: The last date for submitting forms for admission to MPA and PGD in public administration, evening programme, at the University of Sindh has been fixed at Jan 20.

This was announced by the director, admissions, of the university on Wednesday.

The admissions forms can be obtained from the Habib Bank Limited, Hyderabad and Jamshoro campus branches.

The aptitude test will be conducted on Jan 22.

COPYING CASES: The controller of examinations, University of Sindh, has said those candidates who have been reported in copying cases during the 2001 annual examinations of B.Ed and M.Ed, off campus, and LLB should appear before the examination discipline committee on Jan 18.

CONVOCATION: The registrar, University of Sindh, has said the Convocation 2001 will be held at the Jamshoro campus on Jan 30.

The Sindh governor will preside over the convocation.

Degrees will be conferred on candidates who have successfully completed their Ph.D, M.Phil and master’s and bachelor’s degree courses. Medals will also be awarded to position holders.

PRACTICALS: The controller of examinations, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, has said practicals of gynae and obstetrics of final professional MBBS will be held from Jan 13 to Jan 15.

SAU RESULT: The controller of examination, Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, has announced the result of the second semester examinations, 2002, of BSIT (first batch) of the Shaheed Major Maqbool Institute of Science and Technology, Hyderabad.

Fahima Bano Memon, seat no 2K2-SMIST/002, secured first position, Khadija Anjum, seat no 2K2-SMIST/001, secured second position and Ghulam Mohammad, seat no 2K2-SMIST/003, secured third position.
