LAHORE, Sept 20: National players will be participating in the Chroma Open Table Tennis tournament which will be held from Saturday to Monday.

Format of the tournament organised by the Chromatex Chemicals at its own tennis hall will be initially held on league basis before the competition enters the knockout phase to provide every player with a good number of matches.

National players like Asim Qureshi, Bilal Yasin, Asim Aziz, Jehangir Khan, Mehboob Elahi and Shabnam Bilal are participating in the tournament while players from other provinces and clubs are showing interest to participate in the other monthly tournaments as the Chromatex Chemicals has also announced to organise a tournament every month.

Free of cost boarding and lodging will be provided to players coming from other cities.

Omer Zaka, Faryal Minhas, Waqas Ahmed from Rawalpindi, Hafiz Zeeshan and Masood Ahmed from Bahawalpur, Shujah and Abdul Raheem from Faisalabad, Qasim Aziz from Karachi, Salman Virk and Yasir Bhatti from Sheikhupura are participating in the event.
