Woman, daughter gang-raped

SIALKOT, Dec 28: A local trader’s wife and minor daughter were gang-raped at pistol point on Saturday by seven armed men in Muhallah Mallo Patiyaal, Pasrur.

Drunk influential vagabonds, including Muneer and Ali, barged into the house and started beating the trader’s wife on resistance. They overpowered the woman and her nine-year-old daughter and gang-raped them on gunpoint. After committing the crime, the outlaws fled leaving the victims unconscious. Later, they were admitted to the Pasrur DHQ Hospital in critical condition.

Citizens and traders staged a protest demonstration against the nasty incident. They chanted slogans against the police for not arresting the influential criminals who are still at large. They are also threatening the family with dire consequences for reporting the matter to police.

Pasrur police have registered a case.
