KARACHI: KU Masters admission

KARACHI, Nov. 22: The University of Karachi has notified on Thursday that the date for submission of admission fee and required documents for the candidates whose names have appeared in the Masters lists of admissions -2002 has been fixed on 29th November, 2001.

These candidates shall be required to pay Rs200 as late fee in addition to the required admission fee etc. The fee shall be collected at the Silver Jubilee Gate No. 1, Main University Road, Karachi during 9 am to 12.00 noon.—APP

BEMS EXAMS: The examination department of the University of Karachi has announced the schedule of second professional, Bachelor of Eastern Medicine Sciences (B.E.M.S), to be commenced from Jan. 2002.

According to the theory exams schedule announced here on Thursday, the exams of ILmul Adviah (Pharmacology) 1, would be held on Jan. 7, ILmul Adviah II exams would be held on Jan. 9, Tibbe-e-Qanoon-va-ILmul-Samoom (Forensic Medicine and Toxicology) exams would be conducted on Jan. 12 and the theory examinations of Samaji Tibb (Community Medicine) would be held on Jan. 15, 2001.

Practical/Viva voice examinations of ILmul Adviah I would be held on Jan. 17, ILmul Adviah II would be held on Jan 19, Tibb-e-Qanoon-va-ILmul-Samoom (Forensic Medicine and Toxicology) would be held on Jan. 21 and the practical exams of Samaji Tibb would be held on Jan. 23, 2001.—APP/PPI
