GUJRANWALA, Aug 18: The Punjab government transferred EDO Dr Azhar Masood Bhatti and made him an officer on special duty in Lahore as punishment for his poor performance during an anti-polio campaign in Gujranwala division and issued a notification on Saturday.

District Health Officer Dr Meh Jabeen has been given an additional charge of the EDO (Health). Additional District Collector Rana Saleem Afzal has been transferred on the complaint of MNA Mahmood Bashir Ahmad Virk while former deputy secretary of the health department Salaha Saeed has been posted on the same seat.

Social Security Director Chaudhry Sarfraz Ahmad has been transferred to Muzaffargarh while Baber Abbas Khan has been posted against his seat. —Correspondent
