KARACHI, Nov 21: Leg-spinner Anis Shaikh captured four for 28 to help Mohammad Hussain Memorial CC overwhelm Omar CC by seven wickets in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan cricket tournament at AKG Ground here Wednesday.

Batting first, Omar CC were bowled out for 134 in 24.4 overs.

Mohammad Hussain Memorial CC, in reply, reached their target for the loss of three wickets in 20.1 overs.

Aamir Iqbal hit exactly 50, including two fours and one six, and Zeeshan Tanvir Malik made 41 with the aid of three sixes and two fours in the opening stand worth 76.

Sharjeel Ashraf struck an unbeaten 31.

Anis Shaikh was adjudged Man-of-the-Match.

Meanwhile, off-spinner Haaris Ayaz snapped up five for 14 to bowl Landhi Friends to an easy six-wicket win over United Sports in a match played Tuesday.
