Bank donates Rs.1m to PSA

LAHORE, Dec 20: Punjab Squash Association (PSA) received Rs one million from Faysal Bank for renovation of seven courts at its complex located behind the Governor House.

PSA president Lt. Gen. Zarar Azeem said that the amount would be spent to make the courts at par with the international standards.

He said that after completing the renovation work, the Punjab Squash Academy would be launched.

 Zarar said that Punjab government had provided another Rs one million for the academy. He also vowed that the construction work at the international squash complex near the National Hockey Stadium would be resumed from next month.

The construction work on the international complex is suspended since 1995 due to non-availability of funds.
