RAWALPINDI, Dec 19: Nasir Iqbal, the victim of a clash and brother of Dr Ifran, expired here at district headquarter (DHQ) hospital on Thursday, the police said.

Dr Irfan had reportedly shot dead Wasim Gillani in the operation theatre (OT) of the hospital on Wednesday.

Asim Gillani, another injured victim of the clash, is said to be in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the postmortems of Wasim Gillani and Nasir Iqbal were conducted on Thursday at the hospital.

Wasim and Asim were given medical aid by a team of doctors in the OT when they were reportedly attacked by Dr Irfan.

DOCTOR SENT ON REMAND: The judge of Anti-Terrorism Court no 1, Manzoor Ahmad Mirza, sent Dr Irfan to jail on judicial remand.

The accused doctor was earlier remanded to jail by the judicial magistrate, Hidayat Ullah Shah, for allegedly injuring one of the victims in the jurisdiction of Airport police on Tuesday. However, he remained at large till he was arrested by Ganjmandi police after the hospital incident.
