KARACHI: Mohajir convention

KARACHI, Dec 18: The Mohajir Rabita Council (MRC) is holding a Mohajir Convention here on Dec 22 which will be specially addressed by MQM chief Altaf Husain from London, Kazi Khalid Ali, Advocate, the president of the MRC and a former Sindh minister, said on Wednesday.

At a press conference, he said some 1,000 guests have been invited to the convention at which issues such as attainment of political, economic, social, educational and basic rights of the Mohajirs, elimination of unemployment, withdrawal of false cases, non- availability of medical facilities as well as issues such as water, electricity, etc, will come under discussion. —APP
