Murtaza emerges champion

KARACHI, Dec 17: Murtaza Qasim with a net score of 38 points clinched the 7th Engro golf trophy played over two days at the Karachi Golf Club. Faisal Maqbool Sheikh with 35 points finished in second place.

Mohammad Ali Hai was the winner in the gross category with a score of 75 followed by Ansar Mehmood who ended up with 78. On the first day Bashir A. Khan claimed the veterans trophy with a net score of 24.

Ali Nawaz Chaudhry ended in second place with a net score of 19 points.

Durdana Soomro with a net score of 35 points grabbed the ladies title edging out Mineko Mizukami by just a point.

Anwar Jan Babar won the seniors event with a net 44. Sohail K. Rana with 42 finished second.

The junior event was landed by Master Hamza Haroon who edged out Master Danish Khan for top honour by two points having net score of 39 against.
