Diplomas awarded

LAHORE, Nov 20: Fifteen women and men were awarded diplomas on completing a six-day Training Course for Sports Directors of Pakistan Universities which was held from Nov 15 to 20. Five women and 10 men attended the course.

Those were awarded the diplomas were Abida Shaheen (Karachi University), Miss Mukhtar Bhatti (Sindh University, Jamshoro), Mrs Tahira Batool (Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore), Shaheen Ishtiaq (Lahore College), Mrs Tahira Salim (Punjab University), Riaz Mahmood Alvi (UGC), Najeeb-ur-Rahman Channan (Mehran  University, Jamshoro), Abdul Waheed  Abbas  (Sindh University), Iftikhar Ahmad (Islamia University, Bahawalpur), Syed Manzoor Husain Shah (International Islamic University, Islamabad), Mohammad Akmal Husain Bhatti (Engineering University, Taxila), Jamshed Ahmad (Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, Topi), Fayyaz Mahmood Qureshi (University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore), Shaukat Hayat, Mohammad Sharif (Government College, Lahore.

The course was conducted by the Pakistan Olympic Association.
