LANDI KOTAL, Dec 13: A man and a girl were killed here, while a businessman from Landi Kotal lost his life and his three partners were seriously injured in a road accident in the Bagram area of Afghanistan during the last two days.

The first incident occurred in Sultankhel village where a young girl, Nousheen, was found dead in the bathroom of her parents’ house. Hospital sources in Landi Kotal said the  girl had a bullet injury in her head which caused her death.

The family members did not say about the mysterious death of the girl who was engaged to one of her first cousins and their wedding was to take place soon.

In Bagram area of Afghanistan, a young businessman from Landi Kotal, Ahmad Khan, was killed while his three  partners, received serious injuries.

They were on their way back to Torkhum when their car collided head on with a pick-up, killing Ahmad Khan on the spot. His body was shifted to his native village on Wednesday. The injured were admitted to a hospital in Kabul.

In another incident, an unidentified driver was killed when he was knocked down by a trawler near Gongee village. The deceased was stated to be the only son of his parents. He was on Eid vacations after spending some three months in Sindh.
