Saifullah’s nomination criticized

MANSEHRA, Dec 12: The Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Mansehra, has denounced any action against party chief Mian Azhar and termed the nomination of Salim Saifullah Khan as party secretary-general unconstitutional.

Office-bearers of the Mansehra PML-Q say Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali has no right to nominate anyone as it is the sole right of the party council to fill the post after Jamali’s selection for the prime ministerial slot.

Sheraz Mahmood Qureshi, a prominent Muslim leaguer of Hazara, speaking to Dawn on Thursday said that the conspirators and the opportunists had created unnecessary differences between Mian Azhar and the prime minister.

He said it was an irony that split of the Muslim League in various factions had marred its credibility among the masses.
