The pair

Published May 13, 2012

We all know how serious and passionate Priyanka Chopra is about her singing career-to-be. She thinks that she can sing like a pro and for that she has already begun working on her album in the US. In fact the album is more than half way through. That’s not it.

Priyanka C is a smart cookie too. She knows that these days even if one is not that melodious (read: sureela) a little gimmickry and computer manipulation can fix things. To boot, she is also aware of the importance of marketing a product. Therefore, news is that Priyanka C has convinced American singing sensation Katy Perry to sing a duet with her on her debut album. How did that happen?

Well, apparently the two gals ran into each other when Katy P was visiting India to attend the IPL opening gig. They liked each other’s company instantly and the friendship has now blossomed into professional partnership. Details of the duet have not yet been forthcoming. If that’s true, rest assured: the video, if not the audio, of their song would be one heck of a visual treat.
