Textile board reconstituted

LAHORE, Dec 9: The government has reconstituted the Federal Textile Board (FTB), inducting 16 members from the private sector in it.

The board is chaired by the Federal Minister for Industries & Production and has nine official members.

Prominent among the private sector members include Aptma chairman Anjum Saleem, Gohar Ejaz, Mian Mohammad Latif, Shafqat Elahi, Javed Siddiqui, Abdul Razzak Teli, and Aziz Memon.

The names of representatives of ginners, power loomers and bedware and upholstery are yet to be finalized, according to a copy of notification issued by the industries and production ministry.
