KARACHI: Mehmood Madni dies

KARACHI, Dec 8: Mehmood Ahmed Madni, former chief editor of Jang and Jasarat, passed away here on Friday after a protracted illness. He was 66.

He was buried in a graveyard adjacent to the Karachi Milk Plant after Maghrib prayers.

CONDOLENCE: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, in a message from Islamabad, has expressed his sorrow over the death of Mr Madni.

Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, in a message from Lahore, has also condoled with the family of the deceased.—APP
